LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Michigan State Police launched new courses aimed at helping places of worship develop emergency plans in the event of a shooting.
Those enrolled learn how to develop a security plan, create a safety team, and review any current security plans.

In addition, the course will evaluate vulnerability points and show how to put together medical kits. Officials say the next course is in May.
