SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Lake Superior State University is logging in to a new Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity and it is set to launch in August.

The new program will provide students with hands-on work in criminal justice, computer science, and computer networking, In addition, it will teach students to shield against cyberattacks, recover data, and provide essential information crucial for the investigation and prosecution of cybercrime offenders.

In addition, LSSU plans to seek specialized accreditation through the Center of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity by the Department of Homeland Security and the National Security Agency.
