EAST LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A professor at Michigan State University has been arraigned on multiple counts of possessing child sexually abusive material.

The Ingham County prosecutor’s office said 49-year-old Iskandar Arifin of Meridian Township faces three counts of possessing child sexually abusive material and another three counts related to using a computer to commit a crime.

Arifin is scheduled to appear at a probable cause hearing on March 12; in addition, a preliminary hearing is slated for March 19.
