LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Governor Gretchen Whitmer is condemning what she called “hateful rhetoric” on the University of Michigan campus. Protesters have used the term “intifada” that refers to periods of violence against Jews as they demonstrate in support of Palestinians.
Whitmer’s office told Fox News Digital on Sunday, “This hateful rhetoric is unacceptable, and does not represent Michigan or Dearborn. The Dearborn community is full of hardworking, proud Americans. Our state is diverse and we are proud of it.”
