SHELBY TOWNSHIP, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A 41-year-old Macomb County woman has won $2 million playing the Michigan Lottery’s $2,000 Large instant game.

The woman, who chose to stay anonymous, told lottery officials she bought the 20-dollar ticket at Party Palace Liquor in Shelby Township and scratched it off while waiting for a pizza. She immediately called her husband with the news.

The woman took a lump sum payment of around $1.3 million. She said she will pay bills and take a vacation with the money.
