FLINT, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A second fire in six months broke out at the abandoned Flint Northern High School building on Sunday morning.
The Flint Fire battalion chief said firefighters arrived on scene at the old Flint Northern High School building at about 9 a.m. on Sunday to respond to the fire. The building has been abandoned for years.

About two hours after arriving, officials said the fire in some rooms of the building had been knocked down. Firefighters were forced to wait on other parts of the fire due to compromised structure of the building.
A fire broke out at the abandoned high school in October 2023.
