LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Two groups are suing the State of Michigan regarding state over the shortened coyote hunting season.

The Michigan Natural Resources Commission voted to ban coyote hunting between April 16 and July 14 after it had been year-round since 2016.

The Michigan United Conservation Clubs filed their lawsuit in Ingham County and the Michigan Trappers and Predator Callers sued the state in Mackinac County.
