LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A group of thunderstorms is predicted to move through Michigan on Tuesday with an increased chance of severe thunderstorms. Meteorologist Mark Torregrossa reports that part of southern Michigan has been placed in an area of all types of severe weather.

The newest overall severe weather forecast now shows Lansing, Ann Arbor, Kalamazoo and southward in a level two of five levels threat for severe weather.

Some areas have a high chance of tornados with scattered damaging wind gusts and large hail.

Michigan is predicted to experience the offshoot of Monday storms in Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas.
