ST. IGNACE, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A U.S. Coast Guard crew saved two people from a disabled boat in Lake Michigan.

Station St. Ignace responded to Epoufette Bay in northern Lake Michigan on Wednesday night after receiving a report of a 14-foot row boat in distress with two people onboard.

The boat was beset by weather and had broken oars, stranding the occupants in the Great Lake. The crew arrived on scene and rescued the two people.
