WASHINGTON (Michigan News Source) – Check your refrigerator and freezer. The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced a recall for more than 20,000 pounds of beef products.
The frozen raw beef products are being recalled by South American Meat Inc. The meat was imported from Uruguay but not properly re-inspected upon their entry into the U.S.

There have been no confirmed reports of sickness linked to the products sold under the label “Frigorifico Casa Blanca.”
Regulators said the products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
