ALPENA, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Some voters in Alpena may have to wait a bit longer for their absentee ballots to arrive.
A quirk in the city’s ballot order with its supplier led to fewer ballots being received. The error has been caught and is being corrected.

Affected voters in Alpena are located in precincts 3, 4, and 5. A limited number of ballots are available in-person at Alpena City Hall.
The vendor the ballots are expected to arrive by Oct. 17 at the latest. Voters who have not received their absentee ballot by the end of this week or have questions can contact the clerk’s office at 989-354-1720.
