Officials arrested Day at his residence on Nov. 18 after receiving a tip that officials say proves he exited a vehicle with a rifle and shot a deer on private property.

Further investigation showed two additional deer shot and left in the same area, including a large, nine-point buck.

The DNR is seeking additional deer poaching charges.

Day is lodged at the Otsego County Jail awaiting a preliminary hearing.
