KALAMAZOO, Mich. (Michigan News Source – One person died on Saturday afternoon after being hit and killed by a train in Kalamazoo.
Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety officials responded to West Main Street and the Elm Street for the crash. The person’s name who died has not been released.

Amtrak said the train was traveling from Pontiac to Chicago. No one on the train was hurt.
The crash remains under investigation.
