Detroit (Michigan News Source) – Heavy rains and storms brought flash flooding to many areas of Metro Detroit on Monday evening, even delaying some flights at Detroit Metro Airport in Romulus.
Nearly 18,000 were without power during the storms which dropped up to 4 inches of water in a short time across the region.

The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a flash flood warning for Romulus and Wayne County through early Monday evening.
The NWS reported 4 inches of rain in St. Clair Shores, 3 inches in Roseville, and 2.92 inches in Sterling Heights.
