LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A Michigan man who opened fire at a U.S. Border Patrol station in McAllen, Texas early Monday morning is dead.
Ryan Louis Mosqueda, 29 of Ludington, attacked the federal building; U.S. Border Patrol agents returned fire and killed him.

Ismael Garcia, a 10-year veteran with the McAllen police who responded to the scene, was struck in the knee and is recovering.
Law enforcement found additional weapons and ammunition in Mosqueda’s vehicle. Investigators believe he had ties to the community.
