LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – While AAA predicts 2.6 million Michiganders are expected to travel for the Fourth of July weekend, Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel is urging those same travelers to keep an eye out for signs of human trafficking.
Human trafficking includes sex trafficking and labor trafficking, both of which can take place in a business.

Signs of abuse to look for include bruises, burns, or malnourishment. In addition, a victim may not be in control of their own money or ID. They also may avoid eye contact, refuse to communicate, or appear fearful of the person they are with.
