TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Police say a man wielding a folding knife stabbed 11 customers throughout the Walmart store in Traverse City around 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Officials say he is the lone suspect and they are not searching for anyone else.

Six males and five females were reportedly injured in the attack and transported to Munson Medical Center. Initial reports cited 10 victims.

Officials say all the victims were alive when they were transported from the scene, and three required surgery.

Law enforcement locked down stores in the Crossings Circle Shopping Center during the investigation.
