MCKINNEY, Texas (Michigan News Source) – Ferris State University added another chapter to its growing football dynasty Saturday night in Texas, powering past Harding to claim another NCAA Division II national championship.

The Bulldogs defeated Harding 42-21. The win marked a significant victory since both teams headed into the contest undefeated for the 2025 season.

Ferris State (16-0) secured its fourth national championship in five seasons under head coach Tony Annese. Ferris also boasts a school-winning streak of 30 games.

Wyatt Bower, a redshirt freshman, ran for three touchdowns and passed for two.

In addition, Ferris chalked up a new NCAA record for points scored in a single season with 844. Pittsburg State set the previous record of 837 in 2004.
