TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Cherry Capital Airport is adding a direct line to New England this summer.

The Traverse City airport is partnering with Delta Air Lines to launch daily nonstop flights to Boston starting May 21. The move is in response to surging demand of travel between Northern Michigan and the East Coast.

The daily flights will operate through Sept. 7 and cover the peak summer travel season. In addition, the Boston service provides Northern Michigan travelers with one-stop access to several international destinations.
