LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Michigan’s primary election is two days away, so here are some last-minute election reminders to help make sure your voice is heard.

Early voting ends Sunday at 8 p.m. for most of the state, but some communities are also offering early in-person voting on Monday. Check the Michigan Voter Information Center for more information.

Officials recommend that voters using absentee ballots drop them off at their city clerk’s office or at a designated 24-hour drop box to avoid postal delays. If a ballot doesn’t arrive at the local clerk’s office by 8 p.m. on Election Day, it is not guaranteed to be counted.

If mail or early voting isn’t for you, polling places will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Aug. 4.
