AAA Michigan reports as of Friday afternoon, gas prices in the state are roughly $4.85 for a gallon of regular unleaded. Diesel prices are $5.86 per gallon on average.

AAA Michigan says prices are down around 25 cents since the middle of June.

Last year, drivers were paying around $3.20 and $3.25 for a gallon of regular unleaded and diesel, respectively.
