HART, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A small plane crashed in West Michigan on Friday night, killing the pilot and the only passenger.

The single-engine plane crashed in Oceana County’s Shelby Township, killing 56-year-old pilot Raymond Gundy of Muskegon County, and his passenger, 48-year-old Troy Caris of Holton.

The plane crashed after taking off at Oceana County Airport. The crash is under investigation.
