DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – A pair of brothers will be serving time for a gift card scheme that netted millions of dollars.
Harry Gappy will serve four years in prison for his role in a gift card scheme that totaled roughly $9.2 million in fraudulent transactions.

His brother, Hadeer Gappy, was sentenced in April.
The brothers bought illegally obtained gift cards at a reduced rate and then sold them at a higher rate. This scheme went on for two years in which they sold $6.3 million worth of gift cards and processed almost $3 million with in-store transactions.
