MUNISING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – The Michigan Department of State has suspended operations at a U.P. driving school.
Maki Driving school, owned and operated by Marvin Maki in Eben Junction, has been suspended following an investigation. It revealed the provider failed to maintain required student records, falsified records, and issued certificates of completion to students who did not attend or complete course requirements.

The Michigan Department of State is pursuing to permanently revoke the provider’s certificate of operation.
Officials stated the school cannot issue certificates to students who participated in the course.
