MUSKEGON, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Muskegon Heights emergency personnel are sounding the alarm over a lack of funds for fire trucks.
Officials said the city has just one fire truck that can fight fires and there’s no money in the budget for a new one.

City Manager Troy Bell says they have demolished an upwards of 600 homes per year over the past decade which is contributing to a loss of property taxes.
Muskegon Heights Mayor Pro Tem Ronald Jenkins says the city needs to get the lack of fire trucks figured out.
The city has two, 24-year-old trucks that need repairs and the working truck is now eleven-years-old.
