LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – AAA wants to keep impaired and intoxicated drivers off Michigan roads over Labor Day weekend by offering free tows to get them home safely.

The Auto Club Group is activating its “Tow to Go” program for the holiday weekend in Michigan and 10 others states from through 6 a.m. Tuesday.

In addition, many Michigan families will pack up for their last road trip of the season. AAA Michigan says the demand for gasoline is expected to rise over Labor Day weekend, and so are prices.

Although gas prices have seen a steady downward trend over the last 10 weeks, the costs per gallon still ranks the highest Labor Day weekend prices since 2012.
