GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – ArtPrize kicks off on Thursday, Sept. 15 in Grand Rapids.

The annual, interactive art competition draws scores of visitors to the area, and this year should be no exception.

Residents will have an opportunity to check out 750 entries which include paintings, sculptures, interactive performance art and more. These exhibits will be scattered throughout downtown Grand Rapids, where attenders can vote on which artists should take home a piece of $250,000 in prize money.

ArtPrize is scheduled to run Sept. 15-Oct. 2.
