ONTONAGON, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – According to AAA, drivers in Michigan saw a 13-cent increase in gas prices over the past week.

The highest prices continue to come from the Upper Peninsula where gas stations in Ontonagon County are charging an average of $4.19 per gallon.

In Sault Ste. Marie, gas rose to $4.43 per gallon.

 

Drivers statewide are now paying an average of $3.94 for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline.

Prices are up 7 cents more than this time last month and 70 cents more than this time last year.
