LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A 57-year-old Muskegon man will spend 30 months in prison for selling fake sports cards.
Bryan Kennert will serve his sentence in a federal prison for selling counterfeit sports cards for three decades.
U.S. Attorney Mark Totten says Kennert said part of the 30-year scheme involved selling $43,000 of antique baseball card packs to a couple after representing them as unopened and original. However, Kennert resealed the package after he removed the valuable cards.
