LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Gas prices in Michigan are sliding.

Michigan’s average gas price has fallen under $4 per gallon. AAA Michigan says prices are down nine-cents in the past week to $3.96 per gallon, 21-cents less than last month and 69-cents higher than last year.

The lowest price is in metro Detroit at $3.88, while Jackson’s $4.12 is the highest. A 15-gallon fill up now costs an average of $59.
