LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A Michigan State Trooper has been arraigned on a charge of involuntary manslaughter after an on-duty crash while responding to an emergency in June.
State Trooper Michael Fox from the Lakeview Post faces the charges.

Officials say Trooper Fox was driving with his emergency lights and siren activated when he proceeded through a red light where he hit another vehicle. The passenger of that car died.
Fox faces charges that are punishable by 15 years in prison and/or a $7,500 fine. He will remain suspended pending the outcome of the criminal case and an internal investigation.
