MT. PLEASANT, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – The Saginaw Chippewa Tribal Police said two people are dead and two others are injured following a “domestic incident” within the Isabella Reservation in Chippewa Township.

Tribal Police said they were called to the reservation early on Sunday morning. Officials said when they arrived they found a suspect dead with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

According to Tribal Police, there is no immediate threat to the surrounding community and that this was an isolated incident.

An investigation is on-going.
