DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – An E-Bike maker is bringing its manufacturing and assembling of its bikes from China to Detroit.
Vela is partnering with Cardinal Cycling Group which purchased Detroit Bikes earlier this year and continues to manufacture the band on the cities west side.
The company hopes to be fully operational by spring.
A Vela Bike costs about $1800.
