DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – The Detroit Free Press Marathon has a new anti-doping policy in place ahead of registration for the 2023 event.

The policy includes several requirements including not currently being suspended for prohibited substance use by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency or the World Anti-Doping Agency, never being suspended for a prohibited substance, and consent to random drug testing.
The vice president of the marathon says the new policy will uphold the event’s values and ensure fairness and integrity.
