LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A second Democrat in Michigan’s House has tested positive for COVID-19 and remained sequestered in the gallery during session.
Rep. Veronica Paiz (D-Harper Woods) has tested positive for COVID-19. Her diagnosis comes several weeks after her colleague, Rep. Natalie Price (D-Berkley) tested positive as well. She attended session in order to cast a vote on a supplemental budget.

The copy of the Michigan House COVID-19 protocols can be found here. Among other things, the protocol states the “House continues to follow CDC COVID-19 guidelines regarding the Isolation and Quarantine Period for individuals with COVID-19 and close contacts.”
