PORTAGE, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Pfizer is laying off roughly 200 employees in Portage due to lower demand for its COVID-19 products.
The pharmaceutical company says they don’t take the job losses lightly and media relations director Steven Danehy says the company informed employees on Thursday.

Pfizer received the first Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval for a COVID-19 vaccine. The company reported a narrower-than-expected loss for the third quarter.
