EAST LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Michigan State University will not bring interim head coach Harlon Barnett back for the 2024 season.
Barnett had been the head coach for ten games this year and was interested in the job permanently, but it went to Jonathan Smith.

Barnett was a coach with MSU for 15 years after playing for the Spartans as a defensive back from 1986 through 1989.
