JACKSON, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Despite concerts already being scheduled, a proposed music venue near Jackson is still seeking township approval after officials said they need clarification on the property’s zoning.

Blackman Township Planning Commission reviewed a site plan for Country Boots & Bands’ proposed temporary concert venue.

Voting was delayed because officials had concerns about whether the property’s zoning allowed its proposed use. A special meeting is expected to be scheduled for further discussion.
