TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Northwestern Michigan College’s 10-year master plan includes a big question mark – what to do with a 55-acre plot of land that’s located close to the school.

The college is thinking about a variety of ways to develop the property, but some local residents want the land protected and preserved.

Officials with the college said it’s too soon in the process to know what will be done with the parcel of land, but the college is exploring many options.
