ROCHERSTER HILLS, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A shooter opened fire at a Rochester Hills splash pad on Saturday afternoon and injured nine people, including two kids.

The Associated Press reports authorities initially said they believed as many as 10 people had gunshot wounds, but later lowered that number after checking with area hospitals.

WXYX reported that Oakland County Sheriff Mike Bouchard said the 42-year-old gunman was found dead from a suspected suicide later on Saturday night. At this time, there is no known connection between the gunman and the victims at the city park on Auburn Road.
