GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Grand Rapids Mayor Rosalynn Bliss is taking on a new role.

Governor Gretchen Whitmer recently appointed Mayor Bliss to serve on the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) Executive Committee. The committee works as a bridge between local and state governments to ensure that economic development projects progress.

Mayor Bliss’ time as mayor will end this year, as she is term limited after serving two terms as mayor. Her appointment on the committee will run through April of 2027.
