MIDLAND, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Michigan State Police officials announced two boys missing from Michigan have been found safely in California.

The two brothers, 6-year-old Sebastian Rodriguez and 2-year-old Theodore Zurawic were last known to be in the custody of their parents, Noel Schmidt and Nathan Rodriguez.

Investigators said the parents defied a court order to turn the boys over to Children’s Protective Services.
