VERNON, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A Shiawassee County restaurant is reportedly a total loss after a fire ripped through the building on Sunday.

The fire at Sherman’s Irish Pub in Vernon prompted multiple departments to respond to the scene. Crews were able to save the adjacent building, and the fire only caused some damage to the village offices. The fire sparked one day before St. Patrick’s Day, which was anticipated to be a busy day for the restaurant.
