WASHINGTON (Michigan News Source) – Democratic Rep. Haley Stevens, who represents Michigan’s 11th Congressional District, has launched her bid for the state’s open U.S. Senate seat.
Congresswoman Stevens is serving her 4th term in the U.S. House. She is running against what she calls the “chaos” in the Trump administration.

Democratic U.S. Senator Gary Peters is not seeking reelection in Nov. 2026. Stevens joins the Democratic primary with State Sen. Mallory McMorrow and former gubernatorial candidate and public health official Abdul El-Sayed.
The winner of the Nov. 2026 election will join newly elected U.S. Senator Elissa Slotkin, also a Democrat.
