TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A $17.3 million dollar sports complex could soon become a reality in Traverse City.
Traverse City Area Public Schools Trustees could vote on Monday, July 14 on a $650,000 contract for architectural services to kick off the project. Funding for the project would come from the nonprofit Northern Michigan Homefield Alliance and Traverse City Tourism, and the district’s 2018 bond.

The planned 125,000 square foot facility would be built near Centre Ice and East Middle School. It would provide dedicated turf, courts, and track lanes for year-round practices and tournaments.
