CHARLOTTE, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A former township supervisor in Eaton County took a plea deal on Friday, Sept. 12 for engaging in sexual texts with a minor, and will no receive up-front jail time.

The 15-year-old boy that former Delta Township Supervisor Ken Fletcher thought he was texting turned out to be an undercover Eaton County deputy.

Fletcher’s sexts on the dating app ‘Grindr.’ occurred in 2024. The 59-year-old’s original charges included one count of using a computer to commit a crime, a 4-year felony, in addition to accosting a child for immoral purposes.

The plea deal covered an amended version of the computer crimes charge and the dismissal of a second charge. Fletcher will be sentenced later this fall.
