GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – In 2025, Theodore climbed from second place to become the most popular boys’ baby name at Corewell Health, while Sophia surged to No. 1 among girls’ names. The shift reflects a continued preference for traditional names with lasting appeal, even as parents look for fresh twists on old favorites.
Two names also made notable first appearances on the top 10 list. Bennett joined the rankings for boys, while Josephine debuted among girls, signaling a growing interest in vintage-style names that feel both elegant and modern.
