CHICAGO, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – The University of Michigan men’s basketball team trailed at halftime by two points, but they turned things around when they returned from the locker room, defeating Alabama 90-77.
The Wolverines reached the Elite Eight for the first time since 2021 and set a program record for wins in a season.

Yaxel Lendeborg put up 23 points, 12 rebounds, and seven assists to lead four double-digit scorers for Michigan (34-3).
Other standouts in Friday’s game included Trey McKenney and Elliot Cadeau, both with 17 points. Roddy Gayle Jr. scored 16.
The Wolverines will play the winner of No. 2 seed Iowa State and No. 6 seed Tennessee in the Elite Eight at 2:15 p.m. Sunday on CBS.
