DURAND, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Michigan State Police (MSP) are investigating an officer involved shooting that occurred on Saturday afternoon in Shiawassee County’s town of Durand.
According to a social media post from the MSP Third District, “the incident occurred during a traffic stop near 700 S Oak St. in Durand and resulted in the suspect driver’s death.”

Officials said no other injuries have been reported. The investigation is active and ongoing.
