DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – Ford Motor Company is working with federal investigators on a recall repair that has failed to fix fuel leaks.

The National Highway Safety Administration wants detailed information from Ford on results from a March 8th recall of Bronco Sport and Escape SUV’s from 2022 and 2023 with one-point-five liter engines.

Cracked fuel injectors allows gasoline and gas vapors near hot engine parts and could cause fires. The federal government wrote to Ford saying they want the automaker to replace defective injectors.
